This is why my husband prays for snow.

So in the middle of all this crazy weather with sub-zero temps and super high winds a bald eagle came flying past the house and made several circles around the front yard. 

See, I told you... waves. (and yes, I sat there all day waiting for them to break)

Snow Skippy

So with all the ice and snow last week all the critters were hibernating, right?  I looked out the window to watch the snow storm and there on the branch of the tree was Skippy!

Welcome to January, I mean, May!!!!!!!

It was almost 90 degrees. 

 Seth announced he was going to commence work on his flagpole Eagle Scout project.

They managed to get the hole dug.

And in the freezing cold, before snow flew, they got the concrete in.

Then....

Missouri Snowstorm

So, we got hit with a snowstorm yesterday.  

It is nice--we haven't had much snow in the past couple of years.
