Angry Skies

We were on the Northern end of the storms which blew through Sunday, May 22nd, causing such destruction in Joplin and other communities in Kansas and Missouri.

Black skies to our South and an eerie yellow light falling across us. The dogs, who normally whine, bark and make a ruckus when there is lightening and thunder were hunkered down on the porch, heads flat to the ground, not moving a muscle or making a sound. Very creepy feeling.

As the storm passed by it left a spectacular sky boiling with color and texture. Amazing that something so beautiful can be so terrible and deadly at the same time.

Lazy Afternoon

I caught Seth and Joe hanging around in the (trashed--someone needs to beat the maid!) living room the other day and tried to get some clips of Seth playing with his guitar using my phone since he always quits when he thinks I'm recording him.

Thirst Pony

Trying to give Clarence a bath and cool him down but he would rather just play with the water.
