Theeeeeeeerrrr's Hootie!

We have a little owl hanging around our place.  I love owls.  This little guy is dark, mostly black and brown, and we see him in the trees along the driveway or on the powerlines along the highway.  Lately we have seen him sitting in the tree in the pasture across from our deck.  Of course I had to give him a name if he's going to hang around here so we (ok, I, everyone else thinks it's crazy to name an owl) call him Hootie!  I love his little cat-like ears.

Now THAT'S a Knife!

One beautiful winter evening.....

Remember this?!

Yeah, well, this is what came from all of that...

Cleaned up...

Then came time to pass the inspections...

First the big brother inspection: PASS

Next the dreadfullly difficult Papa paper inspection:  PASS!

With the inspections completed it was time to get a handle on things.

And now..... THAT'S a knife!

Yeah Baby!!!!!

Saw this at the school this morning.  LOVE it!  Go, Baby, Go!!!!!!!

The Trouble with Nicer Weather

The boys come out to play...

Slopin' with Style

Katie was out a couple of weeks ago working on her slope style snowboarding.  Well, as much slope style as she can get on these "gentle, rolling hills" of Missourah...

Another Project Picture

I made this canvas art project a while back.

Best "Olympics" Video Ever!

This is my all-time favorite "Olympics" video.  Can't be beat!

Throw-Back Thursday Olympics Style

OK, I don't usually do the throw-back Thursday thing but today I'm all hyper for the beginning of the Olympic competitions in Sochi.  So we'll throw back 12 years to when we had our up-close-and-personal experience with the Olympics during the 2002 games held in Salt Lake City.

All this time I thought there was a different way for catching 'em....
